Divorce Filing Eligibility

A divorce will end the marriage and include final orders such as:

  • A division of any community property or debts you and your spouse have;
  • Whether either spouse will receive alimony;
  • Whether either spouse wants to have a former name restored
  • If you have children, it will also include orders for child custody, visitation, child support, and other child-related matters.

There are a couple of ways to get divorced in Nevada. This eligibility interview will ask some questions to determine what kind of divorce you may qualify for, or if there are other options that fit your situation better.
