Motion for Default Judgment Eligibility

If a defendant has not responded to a Nevada court case within the required time, you may be able to ask the court clerk to enter a default against them. An entry of default is not a final judgment. Additional steps are required before you can get a default judgment.

This eligibility interview will ask some questions to determine if you may be able to request an entry of default, or if there are other steps that fit your situation better.

Answer a Few Questions

You will answer short questions about your case, how the defendant was served, and which Nevada county your case is in.

Know Your Next Step

Based on your answers, you will either continue to the Motion for Entry of Default interview or see what may need to happen first.
